Woah watch out. There's a magazine over there. A good magazine? Nay, a brilliant one. It's about guitars. It's the 153rd Australian Guitar Magazine.

Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins graces our cover this issue. He opens up about his huge 2+ hour opus Atum, reflecting on how the industry has changed since the '90s, and whether releasing a three-disc album in 2023 is a wise thing to do. Atum's third and final part released just last week, so now's a great time to learn a bit about how it was made (spoiler: with great difficulty).

Elsewhere, there's over a dozen pages of top guitarists singing the praises of their favourite pedals, as well as the usual wealth of interviews with the likes of Alex Lahey, Waterparks, Covet, Frenzal Rhomb, RVG, City and Colour, and more.

Also expect the usual gear reviews, tablature, tutorials, and the chance to win a set of Airpulse SM200 monitor speakers!

Australian Guitar #153 is available now at newsagents all around the country, and online via TechMags or iSubscribe.
